It was the first family reading night for the year,
and Destiny and Jacob were so happy about it.
I think Destiny read 5 or 6 books, she loves reading.
Jacob and I read about 2 1/2 books.
We also had Dinner at school, the kids loved it!
The dinner was pizza, cookies and punch,
no picky kids tonight.
And then it was time for one last book.
Before the parents had an information meeting
and the kids had story time.

What a great idea. Wish we had something like that here. Glad to hear the kids had a nice time. Reading is so important.
